You can delete your Yolky account and everything stored with it at any time, without asking us. It takes three taps in the app and it is not reversible.
Delete it in the app — the fastest way
- Open Yolky and go to the Cookbook tab.
- Tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your recipes, cookbook, grocery list, meal plans, onboarding answers and every photo you have uploaded are erased from our systems.
Request it by email
If you no longer have the app installed, or you can't reach the in-app control, email hello@pyppletech.com with the subject "Delete my Yolky account".
So we can find the right account without asking you for anything sensitive, please include the Apple ID email you used to sign in with Apple, or the approximate date you first used the app. We will confirm by email once it is done, normally within 7 days and always within 30.
What gets deleted
- Every photo you uploaded — food photos, screenshots and fridge scans.
- Every recipe generated for you, plus your edits, notes and collections.
- Your grocery list, meal plans and saved timers.
- Your onboarding answers and personalisation settings.
- Your account record and its identifier.
What we have to keep, and for how long
A small amount of data survives deletion because the law requires it or because it is no longer linked to you:
- Purchase and tax records — retained for as long as tax and accounting law requires. These are held by Apple and by RevenueCat as our payment infrastructure.
- Aggregated, anonymous analytics — counts that can no longer be connected to you or your device.
- Short-term server logs — deleted on a rolling window, kept meanwhile for security and abuse prevention.
Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription
Your subscription lives in your Apple ID, not in Yolky, so we cannot cancel it for you. Cancel it yourself first: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Yolky → Cancel Subscription. See the cancellation guide if you'd like the full steps.
