It speeds things up a lot if you include your iPhone model, your iOS version, the Yolky version (Settings → About, at the bottom), and a screenshot of what went wrong.
Cancel a subscription
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap Yolky, then Cancel Subscription.
You keep Pro access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Get a refund
Yolky is sold through the App Store, so Apple handles all refunds — we have no ability to issue or reverse one. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID you bought with, find Yolky and choose the reason.
If you are in the EU or UK you also have statutory cancellation rights, which these steps do not take away.
Restore a purchase
New phone, or the app is asking you to subscribe again?
- Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID you bought with.
- In Yolky, open Settings (the gear on the Cookbook tab).
- Tap Restore purchases.
If that doesn't work, email us with the approximate purchase date and we'll sort it out.
Fix a recipe that came out wrong
Yolky reconstructs a recipe from what it can see, so it sometimes gets a dish wrong or misses an ingredient hidden under something else. Two things help:
- Edit it. Open the recipe and change any quantity, ingredient or step. Your edits are saved to your copy and stay there.
- Retake the photo. Closer, from above, in decent light, with the whole dish in frame, gives a noticeably better result than a dim photo from across a table.
If a recipe looks unsafe or badly wrong, please send it to us — that feedback is how the prompt gets better. And see the food safety note in the Terms.
Imports and links
Yolky can import from a shared link or a screenshot. If an import fails:
- Check the link is public — private or age-restricted posts can't be read.
- Some platforms rate-limit heavily. Waiting a few minutes and retrying usually works.
- As a fallback, screenshot the video and send the screenshot instead — that path doesn't depend on the platform at all.
Account and data
Your recipes are tied to your account. Sign in with Apple from Settings to make sure your cookbook survives a new phone.
To export, correct or delete your data, see the Privacy Policy, or go straight to the account deletion page.
Report a bug
Email hello@pyppletech.com with what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot or screen recording is worth a lot. If the app crashed, leaving Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements → Share with App Developers switched on means we get the crash report automatically.
